A Demon Enslaved…
Lore is a Seminus half-breed demon who has been forced to act as his dark master's assassin. Now to earn his freedom and save his sister's life, he must complete one last kill. Powerful and ruthless, he'll stop at nothing to carry out this deadly mission.

An Angel Tempted…
Idess is an earthbound angel with a wild side, sworn to protect the human Lore is targeting. She's determined to thwart her wickedly handsome adversary by any means necessary-even if that means risking her vow of eternal chastity. But what begins as a simple seduction soon turns into a passion that leaves both angel and demon craving complete surrender.

Torn between duty and desire, Lore and Idess must join forces as they battle their attraction for each other. Because an enemy from the past is rising again-one hellbent on vengeance and unthinkable destruction.

I don't really think the tat makes any sense. I mean, it's just a pattern. I don't see any symbolism in it.

SandyG265 said...

I think I'd like the cover better without the tat.

The ink should definitely come down over his chest. As it is it looks like the sleeve of a t-shirt.

I really like it. I imagine it running down his back a little way. When I saw it, my first thought was that it was some kind of armor.

I like it just fine the way it is. I love interesting designs and the old barbwire or celtic designs are getting kind of, well... old!

I do hope that there's an explanation in the book about what the tat means to him, why he got it and what the design signifies.

I really like tattoos, especially on covers, as long as they have some part in the story as well. They bring another level to the cover and the story. It looks good to me, but should drip down a little onto his shoulder (both front and back).

I like the tat but I think it should be a little brighter or sharper looking. It looks washed out.

I like a guy with a tattoo, this one is a bit ornate but it works on this model.

Really not keen on the tattoo. It does not make any sense to me. But if author wanted it, I think smaller and on chest would be better.
Thanks for the contest.

Location, location ,location… I don’t think it’s all about the design but perhaps about the placement of it that represents something about him. That being said, I find the tattoo very appealing it is full intricate details.

I usually don't like guys with large tatoos like this. But it looks good on the cover. I'd like to think that it will be worked into the story.

I think the tat's great just how it is.

The tattoo's a bit too large and elaborate for me. It reminds me of the rows of spots on Dax (from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) - those went from her temples all the way down to her ankles, but they were smaller and more subtle. This tattoo tends to distract me from the great-looking guy it's on.

I think it is just fine the way it is. I don't think it should be any darker. I think that would be focusing the attention on that. That should not be the first thing that catches my attention. Thanks for the contest!

I love this series!

I think the tattoo is perfect. :) I love how it's incorporated in the story too.

I can't wait to read this new installment.

I see the tattoo as a mark of an assassin. Anyone who sees it, knows what he is.

I love the tattoo as is. I've not read any of the books yet so I can't even guess at the meaning. They are currently in my TBR stack.

I love the tattoo. It helps that the cover model has nice muscular arm. It is like a birth mark. Each is different and unique.

I don't care for tattoos myself, but since it is on the cover, I think it should be brighter.

The entire tattoo should be more colorful.

I like the tattoo just the way it is. Don't think it should be brighter or bigger/smaller. I think the tattoo shows what class demon Lore is.

My first thought is that it doesn't show up too well on he cover. Tattoos are part of the series, but I expect the tattoo to have more meaning, it appears to just be a rather lacy design.

I don't really like the tatoo. I like smaller tatoos that don't stand out so much.
