This Week on PVN July18, 2010

Talk about vampires having the blues! Dead Guy,  a friend of Sharon's, is collecting and carefully perusing all the wonderful advice from readers, but it seems he just can't get enough. His time is running out though. The advice contest ends July 20 at midnight. Using Random.org one lucky reader will be chosen as winner of Unchained by Sharon Ashwood. Contest is international

On Tuesday July 20 there will be an interview with Susan Hubbard  author of the critically acclaimed Ethical Vampire Series.  Last April The Season of Risks, book three, was published by Simon and Schuster. Susan is offering a copy of her book to one lucky reader. Contest is international.

Saw the following on the Barnes and Noble blog by Paul Goat Allen. Wish I had thought of it.

"Why be normal when you can be paranormal?"

Read his commentary on the works of (PVN favorite) Adrian Phoenix. He says,  "In urban fantasy the most underrated writer is unarguably Adrian Phoenix, author of one of the coolest, thematically deepest, and most wildly entertaining series ever written in the genre: The Maker’s Song..."
[A Rush of Wings: Book One of The Maker's Song]

Go HERE for a review of Adrian's most recent novel Black Dust Mambo. This is the first book in a new series.
