Her Vampire Husband - A Vampire Book Review

Her Vampire Husband
by Michele Hauf
HQN Books; Original edition (April 1, 2010)

From the publisher: An arranged marriage between a werewolf and a vampire.

There will be blood.

She may resist his bite, but she can't resist his charms...

Werewolf princess Blu Masterson won't allow her seductive vampire husband to consummate their marriage with his bite, marking her forever. Alone in a secluded estate with her sworn enemy, Blu curses the marriage arranged to bring their rival nations together, especially since Creed Saint-Pierre calls out to her most feral desires.

When Blu uncovers her pack's secret plot to destroy the vampire nation—and Creed—she is forced to confront her growing feelings for her sexy undead husband. Will she choose the only life she's ever known or accept his vampire bite

PVN:
Blu is tough. As the only female in the pack she's learned early on how to shield her inner self. She has often been brutalized, but as daughter of the pack leader she was expected to take it and she did. When someone did her father a favor she was given to that particular male for his pleasure. Nor did she have the comfort and protection of a mother's love. When Blu was eleven her mother disappeared and Blu was never told why. Now she is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice -  marry the vampire leader, Creed Saint Pierre, in order to bring peace between  two warring species. She had no idea that she would fall in love.

In Creed Blu encountered for the first time a man who showed patience and caring. Something she did not believe possible, and caused her to distrust him even more. Obviously he was tricking her. Still this handsome devil eventually won her over. They shared their first passionate kiss over a spoonful of spicy chocolate. A very, very sexy.scene!

Michele Hauf has written an emotionally rich story with a blend of passion and danger plus a peak into the dark side of life. Read it! You'll like it!

Her Vampire Husband and Unchained are both excellent books altho very different in tone. If you have a chance to read one or both please let me know what you think.

Glad you liked the reviews. Thank you!

I had the opportunity to review Her Vampire Husband by Michele too and I absolutely loved it. I think it was very well written and the tension/attraction between the two was off the charts.

I love how the story came together and they worked to overcome the limitations holding them back.
