Michele Hauf -Special Contest - Forever Vampire

To celebrate her newest release Forever Vampire
Michele Hauf is offering a special contest for PVN's US readers!

About  Forever Vampire

Vail the Unwanted is a pureblood vampire. But raised in Faery, he has neither home nor peace, and when his aid is sought in the recovery of a priceless diamond gown, his price is information. Specifically the whereabouts of his accursed father. His goal is revenge, and the supernaturally sexy Lyric, the icy blond vampiress with whom he must work, is a distraction he can't afford.

Outwardly as cold as the diamond dress in which she was kidnapped, Lyric has her own secrets. Desperate to break free from her criminal family, she aligns herself with the brooding Vail. Together they seek justice while each secretly works for freedom and a fresh start. For Lyric that means holding herself apart, even from the smoldering blue-eyed Vail. For Vail, it means a battle to the death for revenge—and for a temptress he can't deny.

I always love a good vampire book, and this one sounds interesting.

I love Michele's books. I've been dying to read Vail's story. I did read Her Vampire Husband and fully enjoyed that one. The other 2 I have not had the opportunity to read yet. Her world of Beautiful Creatures is absolutely fantastic. I know she has mentioned publishing her own books but it would be costly for us buyers but her books are so good. I'd still buy them ;) Thanks for the post on Michele. I'm sure everyone thanks you for having her.

BTW-I enjoyed the interview, too. It was quite interesting.

Hi. I love reading about vampires, fairies and witches. I would love to read these books. It seems so hard to find a good vampire series but I'm always willing to start where ever I need to so I can get into a good story.

I've never really been into Buffy, in fact I think I've only seen just a couple of episodes. I'm a big fan of Eric from True Blood though.
Vampires are my favorite paranormal creatures.
Can't wait to read your books---They are on my "To Be Read" list.

Love this giveaway. Do you get a say in the design of your book covers?

Someone asked if I base characters on people I know. Nope. Not yet, at least. Though I did use my son's name in a story, but it was a dead character (who stayed dead, not a zombie). And I've used my cat's names.

Kelly wants to know when we'll see Vail again. He actually just popped up in Trystan's story, FOREVER WILD. I'm not sure when that one is scheduled to be pubbed though. Probably late next year.

Paranormal Haven, say in design of book covers? not so much. Authors fill out an Art Fact Sheet that describes hero/heroine's looks and suggest scenes for the cover, then we just sit back and pray that the cover characters look at least similar to what we had in mind. ;-)

Michele, if Forever Vampire were made into a movie, who would you pick to play the main characters? Thanks for the giveaway.

If Forever Vampire were made into a movie who would play the characters, someone asked.
Well, I see Vail as looking like Adam Lambert, but I'd want some French actor to play him, maybe Romain Duris, though I'm not sure he'd get the darkness of the character quite right.
I'd love Tricia Helfer as Lyric.
