Dark Stranger - Blog Tour and Contest

Dark Stranger
[a vampire novel of the Primes series]
by Susan Sizemore
Pocket Star (October 27, 2009)

Thanks to Pocket Books 2 US readers have a chance to win a copy of Dark Stranger. [Sorry, no PO Boxes]

New York Times bestselling author Susan Sizemore presents an exciting twist on her popular Primes series: the novel read by the one and only Vampire Book Club! Share the thrills as you discover a hidden world where passions and fear run high, and a vampire General and an Empire princess together find illicit, unquenchable desire....

A twist of fate made Zoe Pappas heir to the Byzant throne. Bound by duty and devotion to keep the Empire safe, Zoe is captured while on a secret diplomatic mission and sent to an underground prisoner-of-war camp. In this strange, shadowy place, residents are governed by fellow inmate General Matthias "Doc" Raven, whose powerful magnetism rouses an urgent desire in Zoe. But the intensity of her attraction is matched by her surprise at discovering that Doc has a secret of his own: he is a vampire.
Zoe's presence puts everyone in the camp in danger. Doc knows it, and knows too that Zoe's royal status makes it impossible for her to bond with a vampire. The only way to save her is to help her escape, and lose her forever. But some fires are impossible to quench, even when following your heart is the ultimate taboo....

I think the cover is HOT, HOT, HOT!

At first glance, the guy reminded me of Antonio Sabato, Jr.

I can't wait to read this.

Thanks,

I love the cover, especially the way the characters are positioned. The guy looks like he is protecting the woman, and yet there is no doubt that they are equals. Fabulous!

I like that you can actually see his face and not just his mouth. The eyes are always my favorite part. : )

The cover is nice, though he's not really my type. Wow, he does look menacing though, doesn't he, mysterious like you don't know what he could be up to. lol

I think the cover is fabulous! I love it when they put both the hero and heroine on the covers, plus it's VERY nice to look at!

I like the cover alright, but I would have used a different font for the title, at first glance its kind of hard to read.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway.

The truth, it is a scary cover. They look mean not sexy. I will read anything Ms Sizemore writes and don't usually judge by the cover, good thing or this cover would have turned me off.

The cover is a bit intimidating. That guy is sexy with out his shirt but the look is scary... and it is weird that the author name is bigger than the title.

I'm adding your contest to my Contest Bar and daily contest posting for November 20th. http://sweetvernalzephyr.blogspot.com

I think the cover models are "elegantly sexy" without being in your face with it.
I also love the story premise behind the book and would love to be entered in the contest drawing.....
