Nights of Blood 2: More Legends of the Vampire is a collection of short stories. These stories cover a range of vampires—vampires who are children, elderly vampires, vampires who are doctors, etc. Some stories include enemies of the vampires including slayers and werewolves. Most of the stories have good action, some romance and a twist that keeps you guessing. These stories speak to the common myths surrounding vampires and their origins, their weaknesses and their strengths. I found that thread interesting—to see the commonalities about vampires and how they came into being, how to kill them and how to survive with them.

This is a good read for paranormal fans. The stories are all written well. While all involving vampires, the stories are different enough to stay interesting, even while reading back to back. The stories involve good action, good romance and good characters, which says a lot about short stories. Plot and character are fully developed in the stories. I was not familiar with any of these writers prior to reading the book but I will check out their other writings if available.

I am not usually a fan of short stories but this book was a good read for me. I would definitely recommend it to others.
