Here are posted my musings on vampires and various other fictional, paranormal critters. Comments from readers and writers of said literature are always welcome.

Ruthie of Books, Books, and more Books has tagged me. That means I get to list six things that make me happy. So I will.
1. My family (including our dog Trudy and our cat Sombra) 2. Knitting or crocheting simple little projects like baby hats for charity. 3. In the winter sitting by the fire and reading a good book. 4. Walking the beach in Florida. 5. Watching my son sing with his band. 6. Beginning the day with a hot cup of coffee.
Here are the rules: Link to the person who has tagged you. Write down six things that make you happy. Post the rules, tag six others and let them know you did it. Then tell the person when your entry is complete.
Sincere thanks to Ruthy of Books Books and more Books! and to Amber of Amberkatze's Book Blog for the Premio Dardos award. It's an honor to receive this from two writers and thinkers I admire. The award is given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing.
The rules are:
1) Accept the award by posting it on your blog along with the name of the person that has granted the award and a link to his/her blog.
2) Pass the award to another 15 blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment, remembering to contact each of them to let them know they have been selected for this award.
I've had previous opportunities to list outstanding blog sites. Now I will offer 15 more in no particular order. This is such a pleasure!
Ruthie's Book Reviewshas given this blog the Lemonade award - for showing great attitude and gratitude. Thanks so much, Ruth. You certainly deserved your award! Now I get to nominate 10 more sites. That's the best part.

But the challenge is far more complicated than Sasha could have imagined. Soon she is thrust into a full-scale supernatural war for supremacy—and the only man left who Sasha can turn to might be the biggest danger to her of all. . .and in more ways than one.

I am truly honored to be nominated for the "I Love Your Blog Award." Many thanks to Amber of Amberkatze's Book Blog for putting Patricia's Vampire Notes on the list (wherever it may reside).
Now it's my turn to nominate 7 of my favorite blogs for the honor. This is not an easy task because the nominations should include everyone on my blog links plus a few more. For those that I know have already been nominated I won't list.
Below are the Award rules: 1. Add the logo of your award to your blog. 2. Add a link to the person who awarded it to you. 3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs. 4. Add links to those blogs on your blog. 5. Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs - I still have to do this one.
Book bloggers would be no where without our readers. Many readers also happen to have their own blogs, but not all do. During Book Blogger Appreciation Week, we would like to take time to honor those who do not. You are so special to us and we want to recognize you for all that you do for us. If you are a loyal reader to one or many book blogs but do not blog yourself, this is the contest for you!
